BTS Variety Compilation (2019) VietSub - SBS Television will be airing a special BTS variety show titled "BTS Variety Compilation" during the Chuseok holiday (Korean Thanksgiving) from September 12th to 14th, 2019. The program will showcase a collection of BTS's best entertainment moments, ranked based on their excitement level, as quoted by Soompi. "BTS Variety Compilation" will be hosted by MC Kim Sung Joo, comedian and idol expert Jung Hyung Don, and radio host Jang Ye Won.
BTS already has their own variety show called "Run BTS," which has been airing on VLive and is currently in its third season. The first season premiered on August 1st, 2015, with 10 episodes airing every Tuesday. After a year-long hiatus, "Run BTS" returned for its second season and became a weekly variety show for BTS. The second season of "Run BTS" aired from January 31st, 2017, with 46 episodes. The third season of "Run BTS" started on January 1st, 2019, featuring all seven BTS members - RM, Jin, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, Suga, and Jimin.
This BTS variety show aims to showcase the activities of BTS as well as the different aspects of each member. In this series, the members are often given various challenges and games to entertain their fans. Currently, "Run BTS" has reached episode 84, which aired on Tuesday, August 14th, 2019. In this episode, the BTS members are preparing to play the second game called "Water Slide" or "Water Scooter." In this game, each member from each team will slide down and compete against representatives from other teams. The team that stays on the slide the longest before falling into the water will win. The game starts with RM from the "Fresh" team challenging Suga, the representative of the "Green Wine" team. Both of them look terrified as they climb onto the slide, and they both end up getting injured and falling into the water, bringing laughter and joy to all the BTS members. The "Green Wine" team wins the "Water Slide" game, making the score 1:1 as the "Fresh" team won the previous game, "Water Polo." Apart from these games, BTS also plays other games such as "Blob Jump" and "Get Water Ball."
If there are no changes to the schedule, "Run BTS" episode 85 will air next week on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019, at 19:00 WIB on BTS's V Live channel. Currently, BTS is taking a temporary break from all celebrity activities. This resting period marks BTS's first official vacation since their debut in 2013. The Lotte Duty-Free Family concert on August 11th, 2019, was referred to as BTS's final schedule before they begin their break.
